Damo "Our Angel" Home
Damo's huge and loving heart was donated to help another man live; also his eyes and tissue will be used for those who need them.
I wrote a book about grief and what parents who have lost a child go through. It was published by Publish America and its official release date is May 9, 2009. Publish America has it for sale at their online store. This book has helped me to try and deal with my grief.
My name is Jackie and I am 52 years old. I am happily married to a wonderful man, whom I love very much and who is always here to help me cope. We have been married almost 11 years.
I had a son Damo who was born March 11, 1986 and died February 12, 2006 one month shy of his 20th birthday. His death has left a pain, and a hole in my heart. He was my life, my love and my babyboy.
The above picture looks just like Damo all the way. Damo was a kick-back kid. He always took it one day at a time and never worried about tomorrow. Damo loved his family very much. He had lots of friends and they meant the world to him.
Damo and I had a great time together. When he was little I called him my little boo or my boo-boo bear, but of course as he got older that name had to go. He always wanted to be called Damo and that name stuck with him for life.
RIP Forever Loved Forever Missed
He had a sticker that he loved and it said "It is better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you are not."
Our future has now been changed, we saw our future with our child there
